Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the TodayFits mobile app (“TodayFits,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to suggest outfits for your weather.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account with email and password, we store your email address. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and the name and email address you choose to share — Apple may give us a private relay email instead of your real address.
• Location. With your permission, we use your approximate location (coordinates) to fetch the local weather forecast. You can decline and search for a city manually instead. We do not track continuous location or keep a location history beyond the home city you choose.
• Preferences and saved outfits. Your style and category preferences and the outfits you bookmark.
• Notifications. If you turn on the daily reminder, we store a push notification token and the reminder time you select, so we can send that one notification.

How we use your information

• To fetch the weather for your location and generate and display outfit suggestions.
• To save your preferences and the outfits you bookmark.
• To send the daily reminder you opted into, at the time you chose.
• To create and secure your account.

Third-party services

We share the minimum data needed with a small number of providers to operate the app:

• Weather data. We send approximate coordinates to a weather data provider (Open-Meteo) to retrieve the forecast. No account information is sent.
• Outfit generation. Outfit images and descriptions are generated by an AI provider using only the weather conditions and style category — never your personal information.
• Push notifications. Daily reminders are delivered through Expo's push notification service.
• Hosting. Your account data is stored on our own servers.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app, under Settings → Delete account. This removes your account, preferences, and saved outfits. You can also email us and we will delete your data on request.

Children

TodayFits is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
