Privacy

The short version

Today Fits is an outfit discovery product. You can browse it without an account. If you create one, we keep the minimum needed to sign you in and remember the looks you save. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you create an account. It identifies your account and is how we send sign-in and password-reset links. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email address and account identifier they share with us (Apple’s “Hide My Email” relay address works too). Google also shares the name and profile picture on your Google account, which our authentication provider keeps with your account record; we do not show or use them. Apple may also offer your name once; we do not store it.
• Your saved outfits — the concepts you keep, tied to your account so they follow you across devices.
• An approximate location, only if you turn on weather in the mobile app. It is used to pick the day’s edit and is not stored as a location history.
• Ordinary technical logs kept by our hosting providers, such as request timestamps and error records.
• Crash reports from the Expo-based version of the mobile app, sent to Sentry when it hits an error: the error, the screen it happened on, and the device model and OS version. They carry no email address, no account identifier and no saved outfits. The native iOS app sends no crash reports.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not publish anything you save — your library is yours, and nothing you keep is shown to anyone else.

Who processes it

Accounts and saved outfits are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Images are served from our object storage.

If you turn on weather in the mobile app, your approximate coordinates are used to look up the day’s forecast from Open-Meteo, the forecast service. The current app rounds them to about 11 km and sends them to our server, which asks Open-Meteo on your behalf, so Open-Meteo sees our server rather than your device; earlier versions of the app ask Open-Meteo directly. Either way the request carries nothing else — not your email, not your account, not your saved outfits. We do not keep the coordinates as a location history, though our hosting provider’s ordinary request logs may include them for a short time.

Crash reports from the Expo-based version of the mobile app go to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider, so we can fix what breaks.

The Expo-based version also checks Expo’s update service for new versions of itself, which involves your device and app version, never your account or your saved outfits. The native iOS app updates only through the App Store.

If you sign in with Google, Google’s sign-in library in the app also sends Google information about the sign-in and your device, which Google handles under its own privacy policy.

These providers process data on our behalf so the product can work.

Your choices

You can remove any saved outfit at any time. You can reset your password from the sign-in screen. You can delete your account, and every outfit saved to it, from the Account screen in the Today Fits mobile app (how to). It takes effect straight away and cannot be undone. To ask what we hold on your account, write to us at the address below and we will action it.

Children

Today Fits is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
